About
Objective Performance and Health (OPH) is a Tasmanian allied health practice established to support the Australian Defence and veteran community across every stage of service and life beyond it.
Following a return home to Tasmania, it quickly became evident that with a smaller Defence footprint comes fewer allied health services familiar with the realities of service. OPH was established in response, providing care that understands the physical, psychological, social and occupational challenges that can accompany this way of life.
Healthcare should not begin only once someone reaches crisis point. The approach at OPH centres on prevention, early intervention, resilience and long-term performance, supporting those whose careers are built around serving others to maintain their health, identity, independence and connection to community throughout service and beyond.
OPH provides occupational therapy focused on recovery, performance, daily function and navigating injury or transition, alongside privately funded rehabilitation counselling for those experiencing adjustment difficulties, psychological strain, loss of identity or reintegration into civilian life.
OPH exists to support those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving the community, with care that is proactive, informed and grounded in an understanding of the service environment.
